In this inaugural paper, we outline the four levers that characterize the Children’s Funding Project. Drawing from lessons learned from five communities across the country that have each attempted to find, align, generate and evaluate resources for children and youth; we highlight examples of success and provide guidance for other cities and counties seeking to launch these strategies in their communities. A common denominator for each of the five featured cities is that they have all successfully established one or more voter-approved dedicated children’s funds.
