ANKARA Nike Air Max 270 Mens Sale , Sept. 22 (Xinhua) -- The 828-kilometer-long security wall along Turkish-Syrian border is expected to finish construction by the end of September, state-run Anadolu Agency reported on Friday.


A total of 731 km of the border wall has already been built, and the remaining 97 km would be completed by the end of this month, an anonymous Turkish official was cited as saying.


The wall includes physical, electronic and advanced technological layers. The two-meter-wide and three-meter-high physical layer is mainly made up of modular concrete blocks, topped with one-meter-high razor wire. It also includes patrol routes, passenger tracks and watchtower.


The electronic layer consists of close-up surveillance systems, thermal cameras, land surveillance radar, remote-controlled weapons systems, command-and-control centers, line-length imaging systems and seismic and acoustic sensors.


The advanced technological layer includes wide area surveillance, laser destructive fiber-optic detection, surveillance radar for drone detection, jammers and sensor-triggered short distance lighting systems.

TEHRAN, Sept. 22 (Xinhua) -- Iran's armed forces staged military parades on Friday to mark the start of the Week of Defense, commemorating Iranian sacrifices during the eight-year Iraq-Iran war in the 1980s.


The Iranian armed forces remembered the 1980-1988 war between Iraq and Iran by holding a parade in which Iran's most advanced military power and abilities are showcased.


Iran's army, the Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) and the volunteer militia Basij forces participated in the parade.


Iran also displayed myriad of its home-made advanced missiles, including ballistic missiles, which are reported to have a range of 1,300 km-2,000 km.


In the capital Tehran, Iranian President Hassan Rouhani said at the event that Iran will continue its missile capabilities and defense programs heedless of western pressures.


"We will develop our defensive and military power as much as necessary ..., and to this end Iran seeks no permission from anybody," he said.


He stressed that Iran's military power will be deployed for deterrent purposes.


Iran will defend the oppressed people of Yemen, Syria, and Palestine despite the will of some arrogant powers, he maintained.


The Iranian president reiterated his despise to recent U.S. and Israel stances against the Islamic republic in the UN General Assembly.


Washington and Tel Aviv accused Tehran of destabilizing the Middle East and supporting terror, which Iranian officials vehemently rejected.

TIANJIN, Feb. 22 (Xinhua) -- Tianjin, the northern Chinese coastal city, reported a surge in parallel car imports last year despite a sharp decline in overall car imports following the fatal warehouse explosions at the port in August.


Car imports at Tianjin fell 31.4 percent last year to 379,900 units. However, parallel imports, or vehicles bought from other markets for sale in China, rose 14.1 percent to 79,000 units, local authorities said on Monday.


That represents 74 percent of the country's total parallel imported cars. Such vehicles, usually sold cheaper than similar models from domestic dealers or simply not available through official retail channels, are not entitled to after-sale services.


The Ministry of Commerce approved a trial for the sale of such imported cars last year in Tianjin as part of broader support for the city's free trade zone.


The warehouse blasts in August forced many automakers to use some of the country's other ports, leading to a decline in Tianjin, the country's leading car import hub.


Tianjin Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau said authorities hade streamlined import procedures for automakers to help them slowly recover import at the port toward pre-blast levels.


They are also mulling further measures to stimulate parallel imports, chief among them a 100 million yuan (15.34 million U.S. dollars) fund for reducing the cost of logistics for parallel-imported cars and improving their after-sale services.


BRUSSELS, March 15 (Xinhua) -- A terror suspect was killed in a police raid on a property here on Tuesday evening in connection with the Paris attacks in November last year, Belgian local media reported.


According to public broadcaster RTBF, the Belgian federal prosecutor is certain that the suspect killed is not Salah Abdeslam, who is the subject of an international manhunt following the deadly attacks on the French capital on Nov. 13.


The suspect had been hiding in the apartment in the Brussels district of Forest, which police had tried searching around 3:00 p.m local time (1400 GMT) on Tuesday, but were met with gunfire. Officers found the as-yet unidentified body after storming the building shortly after 6:00 p.m., RTBF said.
