LAKE FOREST, Ill. Trevor Siemian Jersey . - This sure looked like a potential showdown between NFC heavyweights, a made-for-prime-time matchup, when the schedule came out. That idea vanished weeks ago.Instead, two disappointing teams will be on display when the New Orleans Saints visit the Chicago Bears on Monday night. Both are 5-8, certainly not what they anticipated when the season began. At least the Saints still have a shot at the playoffs.Arent they on top of their division right now? And whats their record? Bears defensive end Willie Young said. Holy cow. Thats love right there, man. They got it made.If Young was a tad envious, thats understandable. After all, the Bears are officially out of playoff contention for the seventh time in eight years. But if it makes Young feel any better, New Orleans was not exactly planning any celebrations — not after that wipeout against Carolina last week. The Saints got pounded 41-10 at home, their fourth loss in five games and their worst beating of the season. They can forget about the wild card, but theyre still in the playoff hunt, tied with Atlanta for the NFC South lead, with the Falcons visiting next week. Its obvious that as a unit were not playing like we need to, Saints safety Kenny Vaccaro said. If everybodys buying in we wouldnt have lost a game. The Bears, meanwhile, have dropped two straight and will be without Brandon Marshall for the rest of the season. They placed the five-time Pro Bowl receiver on injured reserve after he broke two ribs and suffered a lung injury last week against Dallas. Here are some things to look for in this game:GETTING AWAY: Maybe going on the road isnt such a bad thing for the Saints.Theyve dropped four straight at home, also losing to San Francisco, Cincinnati and Baltimore. On the road, theyve fared better of late with two straight wins. They won at Carolina on Oct. 30 and at Pittsburgh two weeks ago.You would never think we would lose four straight in the Superdome, centre Jonathan Goodwin said. I havent given up hope on playing at home.BOUNCE BACK?: Despite a rough outing against the Panthers, Brees still leads the league in completion percentage (69.3) and ranks third in yards passing ( 3,983).He had a difficult time last week, though. He had his lowest completion percentage this season (59.2), going 29 of 49 for 235 yards with a touchdown and interception.RUN DOWN: The Saints could not stop the run last week. Who knows if theyll have to worry about it this week?New Orleans gave up a season-high 271 yards rushing and 497 of total offence against Carolina, with Jonathan Stewart running for 155 and Cam Newton 83.It will be facing one of the leagues top running backs in Matt Forte. But the Bears have a total of 23 rushes for 48 yards the past two games even though they keep talking about being more balanced on offence.RUNNING AGAIN: New Orleans Khiry Robinson returned to the active roster last week after missing six games with a forearm injury. He did not get any rushing attempts because the Saints fell into an early 17-0 hole. He had 330 yards and averaged 5.2 per carry in the first six games before getting injured.TOP TIGHT ENDS: On the one hand, Chicagos Martellus Bennett avoids comparisons to other top tight ends. On the other, he does see himself competing with them. Two of the leagues leading tight ends will be on display in Bennett and the Saints Jimmy Graham. Some guys are like the No. 1 receiver on their team, Bennett said. I try not to compare, but I do compete to a certain extent with each guy thats a tight end, because you want to be the top tight end in the league. Theres a competition, solid competition, that they dont really know about. But I watch Gronk (New Englands Rob Gronkowski). I watch Graham. I watch Delanie Walker down in Tennessee — all those guys. Im constantly competing with those guys, but its not like a comparison because each game is different. The game plan for each game is different. What their offence is doing is different from us, but I do compete with them.Bennett leads NFL tight ends with 77 receptions — a franchise record for his position — and is third with 821 yards. Graham is fourth among tight ends in catches (68) and fifth in yards (695).___AP NFL website: www.pro32.ap.org and www.twitter.com/AP_NFL Randy Moss Vikings Jersey . - Even with a new coach, the Denver Nuggets still love to push the basketball. Kirk Cousins Jersey . Mika Zibanejad and Jason Spezza scored in the shootout to lead the Ottawa Senators to a 2-1 victory over Nashville on Saturday night. http://www.shopvikingsauthentic.com/Youth-Brian-ONeill-Elite-Jersey/ . - The Green Bay Packers got back to work on Friday without star quarterback Aaron Rodgers.London, England (SportsNetwork.com) - It was a smash-and-grab performance from Manchester United at the Emirates on Saturday as the Red Devils turned a drab performance into a 2-1 victory over Arsenal. Arsenal controlled large spells of the match, but an own goal from Kieran Gibbs and a late strike from Wayne Rooney helped lift United to fourth place in the table with 19 points. The Gunners tested David De Gea with a flurry of early chances, but the United goalkeeper was equal to the task, turning up with save after save to keep the hosts at bay. United eventually settled into the game but still found themselves second- best, until a moment of fortune in the 56th minute allowed the visitors to steal the lead against the run of play. A cross into the box was punched away by Wojciech Szczesny, but the Arsenal goalkeeper collided with Gibbs in the process. Antonio Valencia was arriving to smash the loose ball toward goal and his attempt redirected off of Gibbs and just inside the far post. Hard done by the opener, the Gunners threw numbers forward in search of an equalizer, and United punished them in the 85th minute when a well- orchestrated counter saw Rooney get through on goal and chip a shot into the back of the net. United had another glorious chance early on in stoppage time when Angel Di Maria found himself through on goal, but the Argentine failed to convert from close range, sending his effort just wide of the post. Arsenal would pull one back deep into stoppage time as substitute Olivier Giroud latched on to a ball of the top and hammered a left-footed effort into the top corner, but United held off the hosts to hand Louis van Gaal his first away win in Premier League play. Arsenal sees its 23-match home unbeaten run coome to an end, leaving the Gunners in eighth place on 17 points. Mike Remmers Jersey. Chelsea remained firmly atop the Premier League by cruising to a 2-0 defeat of 10-man West Bromwich Albion at Stamford Bridge on Saturday. The Blues produced early goals courtesy of Diego Costa in the 11th minute and Eden Hazard in the 25th minute, and the Baggies were left no way back into the match after Claudio Yacob earned himself a needless red card due to a rash challenge in the 29th minute. Chelsea improves to 32 points on the season to go seven points clear of Southampton, though the Saints can close the gap again with maximum points at Aston Villa on Monday. Manchester City maintained third place in the table by coming from behind in a 2-1 victory over Swansea City. The Welsh club had taken the lead after nine minutes when a well-worked move resulted in Wilfried Bony turning in the opening, but Stefan Jovetic pulled one back just 10 minutes later to bring the Citizens level. The winner came in the second half thanks to Yaya Toure, who nabbed his second goal of the season to put City on 24 points. Everton bounced back from two successive draws to rally for a 2-1 victory over West Ham United at Goodison on Saturday. Romelu Lukaku gave the Toffees a first-half lead only to see Mauro Zarate equalize 11 minutes into the second period, but Leon Osman made the most of Samuel Etoos superb square pass and tucked home a tidy finish for a 74th- minute winner. Rounding out Saturdays action, Danny Ings scored twice in the span of a minute to lead Burnley to a second consecutive victory with a 2-1 defeat of Stoke City, Moussa Sissoko netted the lone goal in Newcastles 1-0 win over QPR and Sunderland played to an uneventful 0-0 draw at Leicester City.
