Burnett was diagnosed with having a torn ulnar collateral ligament in his left elbow on Wednesday, a day after being removed from the game in the seventh inning after throwing a pitch to Seattles Michael Saunders. Burnett had just made his debut with the Angels last weekend after having elbow surgery last August. Angels manager Mike Scioscia said Burnett would have a second opinion by Dr. James Andrews next week. Andrews performed the surgery on Burnetts elbow last year.
