Hello,

I have seen multiple threads regarding the GPU crash in Prepar3D but don't think I read anywhere what the final solution was if any. My P3D keeps crashing when I try to open the app. I get the following message:
The device stopped working for the following reason: DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_HUNG.

I had to turn the graphics to low in most cases to alleviate the issue but it appears to persist. I have a GTX 1060 and I don't think this should be happening considering it's less than two weeks old.

I suspect something within Prepar3D is causing the issue in combination with an addon, perhaps?

Please help.

I didn't find the right solution from the internet.
