Can You Sleep In a Wigs?
Maybe someone told you don’t sleep with the wig. On the contrary, the answer to “can you sleep with a wig on” is YES! But you have to take some measures to protect your wig, after all, a wig is not a cheap investment, especially when you sleep in a lace front wig, or sleep in a full lace wig, you need to protect your wig.
When you sleep at night, the friction between your hair and your pillow will make your wig very coarse, messy, and easy to tangle. How Do You Sleep In a 13x6 hd lace frontal wig At Night?
In fact, if you don’t sleep in a wig only every so often, you are probably not going to notice much damage, but if this is an everyday occurrence, we can’t promise it won’t be easily damaged. Sleeping in wigs will damage the hair and fibers; however, there are ways to do it that are safe and workable.
1. Comb Your Wig Before Sleeping
Before going to bed, use a wide-tooth comb to gently comb your wig to work out any tangles or snags. It can also reduce the amount of pressure applied to your scalp and hair than using a regular comb. This is an important step to get a tangle-free wig when you wake up the next morning. Dealing with a wig with many knots is always annoying for anyone.
2. Invest In a Silk Or Satin Pillowcase
In comparison to a cotton pillowcase, the material of satin and silk causes hair to “slide” so if you do move around, your hair simply slides with you and it isn’t caught or stuck to the heavier cotton fibers, which can help reduce the friction and protect the wig hair. Replacing a silk pillow with a silk scarf or a silk cap is also a good idea. This protects your hair in your lace cap without getting rough from repeated rubbing.
At the same time, because of the hypoallergenic and cool material, the silk and satin pillowcase not only provide you with a high level of comfort but also protect your hair as much as possible. They do not take away moisture from your hair. The cool material prevents sweat on the head or neck from ruining your hairstyle. Especially if you often toss and turn in bed, then a silk or satin pillowcase is the best choice for you!
3. Braid Your HD lace wig
If you wear a long hair wig, instead of wrapping it in a silk scarf, you can braid it or simply put it in a ponytail. This keeps the hair together and prevents the formation of unmanageable tangles as the scattered hair gets tangled with each other. The braids don't need to be too tight, if your wig is a straight hair wig, too tight braids will make you lose your sleek and straight hairstyle the next morning. You have to straighten it with your flat iron, which will waste extra time and energy. So a loose braid is better.
4. Never Sleep With A Damp Wig On
If you wash your wig, then make sure your wig is completely dry before you go to bed. Because damp hair not only damages your natural hair and scalp but also causes your wig to break more easily, which is definitely not the result you want. So, please blow dry your wig hair thoroughly.
5. Make Deep Condition To Your 13x6 lace front wig
Bedtime is the perfect time to give your wig a deep treatment. You can use an overnight repair mask, leave-in conditioner, and hair oil to strengthen the wig and make the hair smoother. At the same time, these will prevent further damage to your hair and you will get a very smooth wig the next day.

Nope! You shouldn't sleep in a wig overnight because you will most likely wake up with knots, and tangles and it will take longer for you to style your wig the next day.
