Warriors coach Mark Jackson told reporters following Tuesdays practice that shooting guard Klay Thompson will start in the season opener against the Los Angeles Lakers on Wednesday night. Jackson also said that Thompson already had earned the nod and will start even when Barnes returns. Barnes has not played since the teams second preseason game Oct. 7. The Warriors have said Barnes has "left foot inflammation." Barnes started every game he played as a rookie last season, including the playoffs. Turski injured herself back in August while training and it was uncertain then if she would be ready in time for her sport to make its Olympic debut in February. But with determination, and a great support network, she says was able to return back to the slopes well ahead of schedule. "I wasnt listening too much to what other people were saying," said Turski.
