This is a community of sorts, everyone gathers here to have intelligent conversations about football. Well, that’s not true. Everyone gathers here to have conversations, for the most part. It’s a public forum, so everyone is welcome. Moderating the forum is necessary in order to make sure that this place stays relatively peaceful and enjoyable, so that someone else who logs on for the first time will find a similar forum as you did the first time you logged on here; an enjoyable place to chime in about the Vikings, or crock pot recipes, or beer, or whatever. Sometimes someone gets a little out of line or something of the sort, and comments are deleted, warnings are issued, or more, up and to the point of a ban being placed. We probably let more slide than many of you would like us to. Sometimes, someone who we like personally gets banned. Even though we don’t like that the person is no longer here, we understand why it happened, and we accept that actions are taken in response to comments made, while taking into account the history of the conversation’s participants.
