DOHA， July 11 (Xinhua) -- Qatar Airways announced on Monday an operating profit of three billion Qatari riyals (about 824 million U.S. dollars) in 2016， up from 1.1 billion riyals the previous year due to low oil prices， route expansion and a cut in expenditure.
