EDTShareTweetShareShareRavens 2019 Draft: Best remaining players on Day 3 Jason Getz-USA TODAY SportsDay 2 of the 2019 NFL Draft is officially over. Although Baltimore did not possess a second-round pick, they still brought in Jaylon Ferguson, who has the FBS record for sacks in a career, and wide receiver Myles Boykin, a physical specimen at 6’4”, 220 pounds. There are still plenty of solid players left that Eric DeCosta could select on the final day of the draft.Offensive lineOne big position of need that the Ravens were unable to address on the first two days was offensive line. There are still players who could potentially become rookie starters on the interior of the line. Some of the best interior options still on the board include Ohio State’s Michael Jordan, Oklahoma’s Ben Powers and Dru Samia, and Alabama’s Ross Pierschbacher.Inside linebackerBaltimore has shown time and time again a knack for developing linebackers, so it’s not far stretched to believe they could find a solid player to help mitigate the loss of C.J. Mosley. Alabama’s Mack Wilson is the top remaining option and would be a good fit for the Ravens. Other inside linebackers available include USC’s Cameron Smith, Notre Dame’s Te’Von Coney, Florida’s Vosean Joseph, Wisconsin’s T.J. Edwards Stitched Jonathan Ogden Jersey , and West Virginia’s David Long, Running backBaltimore could look to add a running back on Day 3, even though they signed Mark Ingram in free agency. Some of the running backs still available that Eric DeCosta could select include Stanford’s Bryce Love, Oklahoma State’s Justice Hill, Washington’s Myles Gaskin, Kentucky’s Benny Snell, Oklahoma’s Rodney Anderson, Notre Dame’s Dexter Williams, Temple’s Ryquell Armstead, Texas A&M’s Trayveon Williams, and Michigan’s Karan Higdon.CornerbackAlthough the Ravens cornerback group is one of the deepest in the NFL currently, Jimmy Smith and Brandon Carr are aging veterans and need replacements soon. Baltimore could try and find a future starter in the 4th and 5th rounds. Some of the remaining corners include Notre Dame’s Julian Love Youth Jonathan Ogden Jersey , Penn State’s Amani Oruwariye, USC’S Iman Marshall, Miami’s Michael Jackson, and Ohio State’s Kendell Sheffield.SafetyDespite the splash signing of Earl Thomas this offseason, the Ravens could still look to draft a safety to groom for the future. The best remaining safety option for Baltimore is Alabama’s Deionte Thompson, a rangy free safety prospect who could sit behind Thomas for now. Other safety options include Florida’s Chauncey Gardner-Johnson and Iowa’s Amani Hooker.Defensive line/EdgeAfter selecting Ferguson in the third round, DeCosta could still go for another edge rusher or defensive linemen. Iowa’s Anthony Nelson, Clemson’s Austin Bryant, Miami’s Joe Jackson, Texas A&M’s Kingsley Keke, Alabama’s Christian Miller and Isaiah Buggs, Georgia’s D’andre Walker Stitched Ray Lewis Jersey , Penn State’s Shareef Miller, Oregon’s Jalen Jelks, Arizona State’s Renell Wren, Arkansas’ Armon Watts, Maryland’s Byron Cowart, and Florida State’s Demarcus Christmas are just some of the names left.Wide receiverAlthough it’s unlikely that DeCosta takes yet another wide receiver, there are several players who could be too good to pass up at a certain point, such as Iowa State’s Hakeem Butler, Georgia’s Riley Ridley, Missouri’s Emmanuel Hall, and North Carolina State’s Kelvin Harmon. The injuries keep mounting for the Washington Redskins, who put three more players on injured reserve Wednesday to raise their season total to 17: starting cornerback Quinton Dunbar Youth Ray Lewis Jersey , receiver Trey Quinn and guard Jonathan Cooper. In other moves, the Redskins (6-6) signed Josh Johnson to be their backup quarterback against the visiting New York Giants (4-8) on Sunday and added guard Zac Kerin, center Demetrius Rhaney and defensive end Marcus Smith as free agents."We had a lot of conversations in the offseason about it. We added the recovery room, we are trying to get the right treatment, we've got massage tables in there, we've got sleep centers, we've got all kinds of stuff in there for guys to take care of their bodies," coach Jay Gruden said about the injury issues."But you look at the type of injuries that we've had and it's the same as last year: They are all kinds of different ones. There's ankles, there's knees, there's pecs, there's thumbs," Gruden continued. "I just can't put a finger on it. And if anybody has an answer Stitched Marshal Yanda Jersey , I'd love to hear it."Johnson has not attempted a pass in a regular-season NFL game since 2011.But he was Washington's choice to serve as the backup to new starter Mark Sanchez, who was signed last month and takes over the job after Alex Smith and Colt McCoy each went down with a broken right leg in a three-game span.Cooper tore his biceps tendon in Washington's 28-13 loss at the Philadelphia Eagles on Monday night. As it is, he was only in the lineup because he was brought in during the season after Week 1 starters Brandon Scherff and Shawn Lauvao went on IR. The other current starter at guard, Tony Bergstrom, didn't practice Wednesday because of an injured ankle, while starting center Chase Roullier sat out with a bad knee.Dunbar has been bothered by a nerve problem in his leg and appeared in only seven of the Redskins' 12 games. Quinn, the last pick in this year's NFL draft, missed Monday's game with a hurt right ankle and played in only three games this season, making one earlier trip to IR before being activated."I've never seen anything like this before. I really don't know what to say. I don't know if we're living wrong or something around here, or what it is," running back Chris Thompson said about all the health issues the Redskins have dealt with. "But this injury bug that's been following us the last couple years 鈥?I have no words for it."s://apnews/NFL and s://AP_NFL
