What went right Liberatore began the season in Oklahoma City, and was recalled on April 18. He was lights out in the month of April, throwing five innings of shutout ball. He allowed only one hit and had four strikeouts. What went wrongThe rest of the season, not as smooth-sailing. In his remaining two months with LA, Liberatore had an ERA of 4.50. Opponents were hitting .300 off of him, and he had almost as many walks (6) as he did strikeouts (8). He struggled significantly against right-handed batters, as they hit .350 off him. When runners reached base, things were even worse. With runners on base, his ERA was 6.23, and with runners in scoring position, his ERA was over 10.
