KATHMANDU Barry Sanders Hoodie , Sept. 5 (Xinhua) -- A government panel has recommended the names of 165 new peaks to be opened for the upcoming adventure season, officials said on Thursday.


The opening of new peaks is expected to uplift the economic conditions of local people, boost the country's tourism industry and expand the scope mountain expeditions.


A sub-committee formed under the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation (MoCTCA) recommended such expeditions in a report after extensive consultation with local people, tourism institutions and related experts.


"We conducted an in-depth study for preparing the report Graham Glasgow Hoodie , and the government will take decisions after the detail study," Ang Tshering Sherpa, the coordinator of the sub-committee told Xinhua.


Sherpa, a former president of Nepal Mountaineering Association, said that if the initiative is implemented Michael Roberts Hoodie , it will boost country' s tourism industry and uplift the local economy.


Currently, around 326 peaks are allowed for mountain expeditions and adventure sports in Nepal. If the initiative is endorsed by the Nepali government, the number of peaks will be increased to 491.


The proposed peaks include one 8,000-meter mountain, 12 mountains above 7 Kenny Golladay Hoodie ,000-meter but below 8,000, 143 mountains which are above 6,000 meters and nine mountains above 5,000 meters.


The government opened 122 new peaks in 2003 Jarrad Davis Hoodie , and nine other peaks in 2004, but since then no new peaks have been opened.
